  • We are actively seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of construction projects, ensuring all activities are executed in accordance with company standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.

    • Oversee on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    • Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors and staff, maintaining a seamless workflow.

    • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards, ensuring a safe work environment at all times.

    • Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.

    • Navigate project challenges, offering timely and effective solutions to arising issues.

    • Liaise with architects, engineers, and other project participants to ensure coherent communication and project alignment.

    • Implement and monitor quality control measures.

    • Manage project documentation, including compliance with all building codes and legal or regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • At least 7 years of proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar leadership role in construction projects.

    • Strong leadership and personnel management skills.

    • Proficiency in using construction management software.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with an emphasis on negotiation and relationship management.

    • Adept at scheduling and project planning, with a keen eye for detail.

    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is highly valued.

    • Relevant certifications such as OSHA 62-hr safety training, First Aid/CPR, and any other construction-related licenses.

    • Physical ability to navigate the construction site, including climbing, bending, and exposure to varying weather conditions.

    • Availability to travel to construction sites as required by projects.

  • JAT Construction Group, Inc. (Brooklyn, NY) seeks F/T Construction Projects Manager to manage a team of project engineers & site-staff on large-scale construction projects. Oversee project performance by directing cost and time control strategies. Review and approve engineering deliverables, bid packages, contract and trade leveling sheets. Plan, schedule and monitor all phases of the large-scale construction project lifecycle for conformance to design specifications and safety/sanitation standards. Modify tasks, sequences and resources to maintain project timelines. Assess cost effectiveness of the projects and track actual cost relative to budget. Prepare monthly project reports, identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Manage all Request for Information (RFI) & Submittals received from vendors and subcontractors. Co-ordinate with the architect and/or engineering team to provide accurate responses to the RFIs. Develop and implement effective quality control programs. REQ: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or its foreign equivalent and 3 years of experience in any related occupation. Qualifying experience must include 1 year of experience utilizing Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6 and AutoCad software programs. Position requires travel to construction/project sites within New York, Kings, Bronx, Richmond, and Queens Counties in New York State. Salary is $86,133/year.   • We are on the hunt for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and finalization of our projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role is ideal for an individual looking to build their project management skills and take on increased responsibility in a supportive environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Project Manager with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information.

    • Organize and attend stakeholder meetings, and ensure project teams are aware of their deliverables.

    • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.

    • Ensure project deadlines are met and communicate any issues promptly.

    • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

    • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.

    • Determine project changes and report to senior management.

    • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.

    • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.

    • Offer administrative support as needed, including project documentation and correspondence.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an assistant project manager role or similar position.

    • Understanding of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.

    • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities, including time management and prioritization.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or related field preferred.
